About Us
Light of the Nations is a congregation of The Orthodox Presbyterian Church.

First, “orthodox,” a word that means straight/true thinking or teaching, emphasizes our denomination’s desire to be true to what the Bible, as God’s inspired, inerrant, and authoritative word, teaches and commands.
Second, the term “presbyterian” indicates our belief that Christ governs his church through elders who are accountable to one another, as well as our conviction that the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms are an accurate summary of the Bible’s teaching.
Light of the Nations is a Gospel-Preaching Church.

At Light of the Nations, we believe the heart of our message is the good news—the gospel of Jesus Christ. Though the Bible promises a future world free of suffering and death (Revelation 21:4), the present is marked by brokenness caused by human selfishness, or sin, which dishonors God, dehumanizes us, and harms others. Sin separates us from God and has no place in His perfect future, yet the Christian hope lies in Jesus Christ, who, fully God and fully man, died to pay the penalty for our sin and rose again to offer us new life. His gift of salvation is free to all who believe, and we invite you to join us this Sunday to experience the life-changing power of Jesus.
